Worldtourism was established in Australia in 1998. We are recognised, both domestically and internationally, as an innovative specialist in the travel and accommodation market. The Australian head office is located in Helensvale on the Gold Coast with branch offices in Surfers Paradise, Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington, Bangkok & Los Angeles. Our policy has always been to utilise local people with local knowledge to sell local product.
Since 1998 Worldtourism has specialised in marketing Queensland (in particular Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast & Tropical North Queensland) as an international destination. In the financial year of 2009/10 Worldtourism booked more then 265,000 room nights in Queensland. Based on our recent research, international visitors come to Australia to see and do as much as they can, because of this we are currently under going an expansion program to offer our travel agents hotels and resorts located throughout Australia.
In 1998 Worldtourism was originally established to promote smaller hotels & resorts who could not afford to or were too small to be apart of a wholesale program or a GDS. Over the last decade this has grown at an astounding rate and we now include some of the largest chains in Australia on our GDS.
Due to the airline competition that has opened up between Australia and USA we have seen a substantial increase in inbound bookings from the USA despite the Global Financial Slowdown.
Our customers come to Australia not to stay in a hotel; they come to experience the country. We take pride in ensuring that their experience is one they will cherish for a lifetime to come.
Worldtourism is more than just about selling a product. We are about providing a service, offering a diverse range of products, innovative solutions and a passion to always exceed client expectations. We create value for the client, along with sustainable relationships with our partners. We are currently investing heavily in developing the next, exciting phase of our business evolution, which will see our company expand its products and services to meet our high levels of demand.
